Ms. Shawn Torstveit, Secretary

Ms. Shawn Torstveit is a senior nursing student and the Samaritan College of Nursing at Grand Canyon University. She is the president of the Student Nurse's Association of Arizona and is on the committee of the Council of State Presidents for the National Student Nurse's Association. She has worked on a cardiac unit for the past 3 years at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and plans to continue her work there after graduation. Her 2 trips to Sri Lanka have concentrated on patient care and education for the nurses at the National Hospital in Colombo.
